Get the Satama Presets Pack For Free
The QuickDMX configuration shared with Aufguss WM contenders comes without presets. That means everyone’s starting from zero, building their own light plans from scratch before they can even start rehearsing. This Satama Presets Pack solves that!
I put together a free preset pack for the Satama sauna and had it verified by the technician on site.
Drop the folders into your existing project and you’ve got a a starting point in minutes instead of hours.

How to install the presets pack?
Step 1 : Install the Satama configuration
Enter your e-mail address in the form to receive the link. Download the zip to your downloads folder.
Download the Satama QuickDMX configuration from either www.aufguss-wm.com/wm or www.meinezeit-events.de. Or skip this step and use your existing project.
Place it in your lightshow folder and give it the correct name. You can find it in the Participants ID document (linked on aufguss-wm.com)
Step 2: Open your lightshow folder
If you want to add the presets to your existing project:
In QuickDMX go to File > Open Lightshow Folder. (If you followed step 1, you are already here.)
Find your project in the list and open that folder. You should see a list of directories named 3D view, Editor, fixtures, Live, …
Step 3 : Open the zip folder
Next open the preset pack zip file you just downloaded and get ready to drag the two folders in te correct folders inside your project.
Step 4 : Install the Steps Presets
Drag and drop the folder named learnquickdmx_steps_satama in the scenes folder of your project.
Step 5 : Install the Generator Presets
Drag and drop the folder named learnquickdmx_generators_satama in the
Editor / Generator / projects folder of your project.
(If there is no ‘projects’ folder, feel free to create it yourself).
Step 6 : Add to timeline
Back in QuickDMX, right click the timeline to add the Generator or Steps presets to your project. You should find them in the default locations for each type.
Go through them one by one to see what I’ve made for you and take note of the techniques I applied. Feel free to change and update them in anyway you feel like.
